Community App Submission

Hey Make Partner,

We are thrilled to help get your app published in the Make Marketplace as a Community app!

Remember the Community Apps are a beta program, and we are testing and collecting feedback from partners and users. This means that we may decide to discontinue it at any time, but, if we do, apps already provided to customers won’t be affected.

Currently, only official Make Partners with a signed Partnership Agreement may submit Community apps to the Make Marketplace.

What is the difference between contributing Community apps and Verified app to Make?

1. You will license apps directly to users, so we will not conduct a technical review of your app before listing it on the Make Marketplace. This means you are fully responsible for any listed apps. Following our best practices is still recommended.

2. You may monetize or open source your app as you wish. As of today, you keep 100% of the revenue. We will let you know if this changes in the future.

3. The app will not be usable within Make until the customer installs it in their Make organization, through an install link you provide or by some other means.

Further Terms and Conditions:

Please, read the full Terms and Conditions prior to submitting your app.

You can choose more than 1 category and more than 1 subcategory.

How your app processes data

For Make users it is crucial to understand how the app processes their data. It may be valid to e.g. send some token or org id to your service authentication API where you check valid subscription to your app. Yet, this needs to be transparent to the customer. No app related data processing is permitted.
Make is not taking responsibility for correctness of this information, the liability is on your side. If we find out the information is incorrect, it will result in an immediate unpublishing of the app from the Make Marketplace. Other consequences may apply.
Example:

"No Wise related data transferred through this app are accessible to MakeItFuture.

As MakeItFuture provides their apps through their portal MakeMarket.io, with each request an authentication token issued by MakeMarket.io is sent to MakeMarket.io to check your active subscription."

You can use markdown to make parts of text bold, italic, hypertext or (un)ordered lists to emphasize key information and provide link to further information on how you process data if necessary.
